Went by an oriental market and the sign touting what they had said MEAT, FISH, VEGETABLE.
I was thinking that it should actually be VEGETABLES, but both MEAT and FISH are singular. Or are they?
Two questions:
1) What is the plural of meat?
now in light of that question,
2) What does a butcher sell?
Huh. English is fun.
