Watching Head Justice Roberts administering the oath to Sotamayor was slightly sickening.
"... that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me..."
Like Roberts has ever voted in any way other than in lockstep with the rich or has yet impartially viewed a case.
Added: I guess I should be more complete. I have no problem with ruling for the "rich" if that is what the case warrants. But Robert as always sided with wealth/power/authority regardless. That is what is wrong here.
